Dress 70s

I was invited to a 70s party a few months ago which I thought would be quite cool until I tried finding an authentic 70s look instead of hiring or buying a fancy dress outfit.I'm not really a fancy dress kinda guy but the idea of dressing up in the real deal 70s fashion I thought would be really cool. So I started looking around and to my dismay I really did struggle to find something authentic. Aside from looking on Ebay, which was where I started, there was hardly anything out there.I did try Ebay first but when I recieved the first few items and they didn't quite fit or the colour wasn't quite right, I decided there had to be somewhere else.

So I continued looking and found a couple of sites, one was selling a great selection of 70s T Shirts which would always look cool with a pair of jeans. Jimi Hendrix, Blondie, Fonz and even Wombles and Snoopy, you couldn't get more 70s than them. The other sold really great retro football shirts. Now how cool was that.

What I eventually went for was a really cool 70s West Ham shirt with a pair of flared jeans which my Mrs gratefully sewed for me as I can't even thread a needle! Anyway back to the shirt. I got so many compliments on the design and quality that I think I'm going to go buy the older one that has the laced neck.

So here are the fruits of my labour and I hope to add more groovy gear as I come across them.
